In the wake of Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek’s passing, fans were relieved to learn that former ‘The Apprentice’ star Donald Trump will succeed him on the game show.
Like many Americans in 2020, Trump found himself suddenly unemployed and soon to be evicted. Indeed, the COVID-19 pandemic has devastated the economy—particularly in creative industries—so it is inspiring to see an average Sleepy Joe get back on his feet so quickly.
It is rumored, but not yet confirmed, that Trump is set to make several changes to the format of the beloved show. Namely, participants will no longer phrase their answers as questions, but as facts which will be deemed correct regardless of conflicting evidence. The participants will also reportedly be limited to those who were impeached during their first presidential term as well as those who are legally named Donald John Trump.
Trump also declared on Twitter that he has “already won more Daytime Emmy Awards than any show ever,” an unheard of achievement for a show that has not even begun filming yet.
The first episode is set to air January 21st, 2021 on Fox News.
