Tree Lighting Rescheduled for—Oh, There It Goes

Columbia’s annual tree lighting is a cherished tradition to students and faculty alike. This year, make sure you’re there in person when the big moment comes. Administration has rearranged the schedule to account for finals, and now the tree lighting will take place at—-oh damn, there it goes.

Wow. That is beautiful. Sucks that you missed it.

Welp. I wish you could’ve been there. What a wonderful moment shared between my friends and colleagues and not you. I really don’t think it was supposed to happen yet, but they just went for it. You could still come out and see them if you want, but it’s obviously not the same as being there for when they were lit. Man, you’re gonna be seeing Instagram stories of this for a while. That’s a bummer.

Shoot. Well, if you’re not a senior, you can try again next year. And if you are a senior, I got a pretty low quality vertical video of me and my friends watching it live. That’s the next best thing, right?
