Union champion?: Graduate student workers were very surprised on Wednesday afternoon when they spotted Prezbo on the picket line. When asked why he was protesting, he replied that he is currently in conflict with the administration:
“I just want another $1 million a year. Is that really too much to ask? I’m 75 years old and have a Starburst addiction. My dental bills are expensive!”
After a heated exchange with fellow administrators at a bargaining session that evening, Prezbo left feeling dejected, wondering whether freedom of speech truly exists at Columbia University.
